Step 1: Remote Research and Analysis

VetSupport is well known for our research methodology when it comes to employee workplace satisfaction. We will do an online survey custom to your veterinary practice, which will assure anonymity for your staff in providing us with key opinions, critical feedback, and the current state of the workplace from their perspectives. We will analyze the results of this research, providing you with specific, actionable recommendations. This is an important step in the strategic planning process as management and staff often have differing perspectives and much can be learned from the collective whole.

 

Step 2: On-Site Needs Analysis

The on-site visit will be spent working on the floor, with the team; specifically, shadowing the exam room experience from start to finish.

The remainder of the visit will be spent reviewing the systems and structure you already have in place, as well as interviewing doctors and staff individually for input. We will examine human resources, inventory management, staff scheduling, bookkeeping, and the financial health of the practice. At the end of day two, I will meet with you to review the work accomplished during this visit, a plan and timeline for the work that needs to be completed, and to assign action items to be completed in the weeks following this visit.
